Backend Engineer WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 Gold Medallist
I'm a 19-year-old backend engineer. I enjoy system integration and real business pain points, and I'm used to taking a system all the way from requirements and design to implementation and testing. In 2026 I represented Taiwan at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 and won gold in Software Applications Development.
In fifth grade I found out I could extend Minecraft by writing plugins in Java. That's how I started programming, and along the way I learned that what I enjoy is turning feature requests into things that actually work. Today I'm most interested in integration problems and real business pain points; on a team I'm usually both the one building it and the one reviewing the code.
I've also built some fan projects. It started with being a fan of the VTuber Mizuki — I can't draw, so I showed my support the way I could, and later I helped Meridian Project build all sorts of things.
Outside work I like games, anime and travel. Next, I want to take part in more projects that are novel, fun and forward-looking.
